Tomorrow = EPIC

Well, perhaps it's not as terribly crazy-epic as lots of things, but tomorrow is going to be ridiculous because of one reason:
CANADA VS. USA- GOLD MEDAL HOCKEY GAME!!!
I was sitting on pins and needles throughout the entire first time that those two countries duked it out, and the fact that Canada won every single game since (which they absolutely had to do) and we have a rematch on CANADIAN SOIL is RIDICULOUS!!!
The stupidest thing about all of this is that tomorrow I have to work at VE from open till close, meaning I'm going to miss the entire game. Not just half, or the puck drop, or even the last period- I have to miss every last intense moment.
And oooooh boy is it going to be intense, if it's even a fraction of how intense the first game was just in semi-finals.
Now, all I have to decide is who I'm going to cheer for. ;)
Signing off for now, as in experimenting with the bold and changing font sizes my blog is being a pain and going all over and I don't want to deal with it for much longer than this, so Olympic update and knitting update tomorrow
.
DON'T MISS THE GAME!!!!!!

The Dale can now be associated with the host country winning the gold medals most important to it. It's 1980 roots tie to the Miracle on Ice (whatever other medals the USA won when hosting that year pale in comparison). It's Norwegian roots tie it to the 1994 Lillehammer games when Norway had their best Winter Olympics ever, while hosting. Finally, being knitted while Canada won gold in both Hockey and Curling (and whatever; who really cares, eh?) once again ties it to the host enjoying unforgettable success for a Winter Olympics related to the pattern's creation and birth. Given the story on this Dale, I have a theory that once completed, the reverse should be true. So now you must be sure to finish it before February 7, 2014, so that when the Winter Olympics are hosted by the people of Sochi, Krasnodar Krai, Russia (the first time ever for a Winter Olympics in Russia), that it can provide it's reverse magic and ensure that Russia doesn't win the gold medal they covet most (we all know which one that is, don't we?). If my theory is wrong, the Russians will enjoy unprecedented success while hosting, all because of this very Dale sweater, unbeknownst to the rest of the world, except the few who read this blog!!!!! If my theory is correct, only your blog readers will know that sweaters impact history one way during their creation & birth phase, and the opposite way once completed!!
